Howdy! I'm Jacob!

The Lord loves to encounter us in His poor and in service to the weakest members of the Body of Christ, we serve Christ Himself. For the next two months in Denver, I will be learning to know, love, and serve those experiencing homelessness and isolation. I have long felt drawn toward friendship with those on the street, and I am excited to dive deeper into that call this summer! While with Christ in the City, my goal is not to "fix" problems in the lives of those we encounter, but to enter into their lives, recognize their dignity and build genuine friendships. 

If you would like to join me on this mission to serve "the least of these," I would be honored to have your prayers -- for those I will encounter on the street, for my fellow missionaries in Denver, and for myself.
